Use overripe bananas and a few basic ingredients to make this super moist banana bread recipe the whole family will love.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease 2 non-stick bread pans (9.5 x 5).
  2. In a large mixing bowl add softened butter and sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl mash bananas with a fork until chunky. Add bananas and eggs to butter mixture and blended. 
  4. In a separate bowl, add flour, baking soda and salt together and whisk. Pour flour mixture into the better and blend.
  5. Add vanilla extract and raisins into the batter.
  6. Pour mixture into bread pans. Bake at 350˚F for 60 min or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let banana bread rest then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.

Notes

Reduce the recipe in half if you only want to make 1 pan of banana bread
