Roasted Chickpeas Recipe

Roasting chickpeas is simple, and they are packed with goodness. These legumes are satisfying, nutritious, and they are a great source of plant-based protein.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 385 degrees. Drain chickpeas and rinse with water.
  2. Pat chickpeas dry. Make sure they’re totally dry before tossing them with the olive oil.
  3. Toss chickpeas in olive oil, salt, and paprika.
  4. Pour chickpeas on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread evenly on baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 30 minutes, or until crispy. Serve
