Quick, Easy Pancakes

Weekends will not be the same! These quick and easy pancakes will be the star of your next brunch.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Combine dry ingredients - flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large-sized bowl. 
  2. Make a space in the middle of dry ingredients and slowly add wet ingredients - the milk, slightly cooled melted butter, vanilla and egg.
  3. Whisk the wet ingredients together then slowly whisk out into the dry ingredients. Mix together until smooth. Batter will be thick and creamy in consistency. *If batter is too thick add extra milk into the batter a teaspoon at a time.
  4. Rest the batter for a few minutes.
  5. Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat and add some butter to lightly grease pan. Pour ¼ cup of batter into the pan. Spread into a round shape.
  6. Once bubbles begin to appear it's time to flip. Cook until golden. Repeat with remaining batter.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
