Low Carb Fried Shrimp

Fried jumbo shrimp made with a low carb breading that has great flavor. Serve this Low Carb appetizer with your cocktail sauce!

- 1 pound Large or Jumbo shrimp
- 1 cup Almond flour fine
- 2 Eggs beaten
- 2 tbsp Butter or Olive oil
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
Peeled and deveined your shrimp
Whisk dry ingredients together: Add almond flour, paprika, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to a medium size dish and whisk to blend. Set aside.
Whisk Wet Mixture: In a second medium size dish whisk eggs until blended.
Heat butter or oil in pot: Preheat pan on medium-high heat while coating shrimp.
Coat Shrimp: Dredge shrimp in egg mixture and coat on both sides, then coat in dry mixture.
Fry shrimp: Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
Remove shrimp: Once shrimp is cooked transfer to a plate or bowl lines with paper towels to drain.
Serve: Plate shrimp and add a few lemon wedges and your favorite shrimp dip. Garnish shrimp with parsley if desired.
