How To Make Avocado Hummus
First, you want to open a can of chickpeas and rinse the chickpeas under cool water.
Add chickpeas to a saucepan and boil for 10 -15 mins to soften them.
Once chickpeas are ready, add to food processer along with all other ingredients. Tahini, lemon juice, cumin, salt and of course avocado are the ingredients in this Avocado Hummus.

- can chickpeas, drained
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice (adjust to your tastes)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- salt, to taste
- 1 ripe avocado, cored and peeled
- 2 tablespoons water
- pinch of paprika for garnish

Avocado Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas drained
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tsp lemon juice squeezed
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 ripe avocado cored and peeled
- 2 tbsp water
- paprika to garnish
Instructions
- Add chickpeas into a small saucepan over Medium-high and let boil until soft, about 15 minutes.
- Drain chickpeas. Transfer to a food processor with all ingredients, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, salt, and avocado. Process until smooth and creamy.
- NOTE: If hummus is too think add a little water until reaching your desired consistency.
- Add hummus to bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with paprika and serve.
