If you desire to make infused simple syrups (flavored simple syrup) it is really easy. Once the sugar has dissolved this is the time to add the ingredient you want to infuse. Stir the desired ingredient into the simple syrup and set aside to finish cooling.
Once the syrup has cooled strain your simple syrup removing the infused ingredients. Don’t worry the flavor isn’t going anywhere.
Transfer the simple syrup to an airtight container and place in the fridge for up to ten days.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- In a small sauce pot, bring the sugar and water to a boil and stir until the sugar completely dissolves.
- Remove from heat. ( If infusing add the ingredient you want to infuse ) to the sugar mixture, and place a lid on the sauce pot. Steep for 10 minutes.
- Remove lid, strain to remove the infused ingredient and store in a lidded container in the refrigerator for up to ten days.
- Chill before using in cocktail
