How To Seed A Pomegranate
- Hold the pomegranate firmly and cut in half through the equator.
- Fill a large bowl with water.
- Place one half of the pomegranate in the water.
- Using your fingers separate the seeds from the flesh under the water.
- Drain water removing the flesh(membrane) from the bowl.
- Enjoy, or add to your favorite recipes.

How To Juice Pomegranate Seeds
Making pomegranate juice is really easy. Put seeds in a blender and pulse a few time to break up the seeds. Place a sieve over a jar or cup and pour pomegranate into the sieve. Use a rubber spatula to push the juice through a fine sieve.
Note: Do not over blend or the juice will be bitter due to the blending of the seeds.
If the juice is tart, you can add sugar to your desired sweetness level.
How To Freeze Pomegranate Seeds
Once you have removed all the seeds from your pomegranate, you want to pat them dry. Place seeds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer. Place baking sheet in freezer for 3 hours or until frozen. Once frozen, you want to remove baking sheet from the freezer and place seeds into a zip lock or freezer bag or a container and store them in the freezer.
